Austin Torsiello is a chef and restaurateur known for translating Michelin-level technique
into vibrant, high-performing restaurant concepts. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of
America’s Accelerated Program, Torsiello trained in some of New York City’s most
respected kitchens, including Michelin-starred Junoon, The Breslin, and Masa.
After nearly a decade in fine dining, he shifted toward elevated casual dining, applying the
same precision and discipline to scalable, hospitality-driven concepts. Through his
hospitality consulting and development firm, Torsiello, has launched and operated multiple successful restaurants across New Jersey and internationally, including Harry’s Food &
Drink, Orale, Dullboy, and Jane Doe.
His newest Mediterranean concept in NoMad blends wood-fire cooking, seasonal sourcing,
and regional flavors with contemporary design and operational excellence, reflecting his
commitment to thoughtful cuisine, strong brand identity, and exceptional guest experience.
